Volunteer with PTA

There are many ways to volunteer at Lakewood.  You can work in the classroom, plan an activity, coordinate an event or assist in raising much-needed funds.  They all have one thing in common - PTA.  Lakewood PTA strives to have support our students, staff, teachers and parents by providing activites, programs and opportunities to impact the emotional, social and academic development of all Lakewood Lions.

Lakewood PTA has the privilege of working with parents, staff, teachers and students to implement programs and activities that impact the emotional, physical and academic education of all Lakewood Lions. Without Lakewood PTA, the following activities/programs would CEASE TO EXIST: Field trips, Art with Mrs. Roehne, Drama, Teacher Supply Support, Book Fair, New books for the library, Red Ribbon Week, Craft Fair, Fall Carnival, Spring Picnic, 6th grade Waterslide Trip, Yearbooks, hands-on science with World of Wonders and more.

For our Lakewood PTA to continue to impact our school and community, WE NEED YOU! PTA Board members and committee leaders want to share their knowledge with the next generation of Lakewood parents to keep PTA strong and healthy. We want to encourage you, train you and support you before our kids graduate and move on to Junior High!
